Can I pull the blind all the way up?

Absolutely. Like a standard roller blind, you can raise the entire blind into the cassette at the top of the window for a completely clear view.

Do people see in through the stripes in day/night blinds?

During the day, the sheer stripes act like a net curtain - you can see out, but it's hard to see in. At night with lights on, you would simply slide the blind to the "solid" position for total privacy.

Are your blinds safe for homes with children and pets?

Safety is our priority. All Ransome Blinds installations are fully compliant with UK child safety regulations. We offer cordless "wand" operated systems, motorized options, or safety cleats to ensure there are no looped cords within reach.

How do I maintain and clean my new blinds or shutters?

Maintenance is remarkably simple. For shutters and faux-wood blinds, a quick wipe with a damp microfibre cloth is usually sufficient. For fabric blinds, we recommend regular light dusting with a vacuum brush attachment to keep the material looking fresh and allergen-free.

Do you provide home consultations in Wiltshire and Somerset?

Yes, we provide a full 'shop-at-home' service across Westbury, Trowbridge, Frome, and the surrounding villages. We bring the samples to you so you can see the fabrics in your own natural light.
